Genesee Valley Pony Club (GVPC) was founded in 1954, one of the original member clubs of the United States Pony Clubs. Its founding was under the aegis of the Genesee Valley Hunt.The club is part of the Western New York Region.

GVPC is an organization dedicated to teaching children riding skills and responsible, kindcare for their horses. Especiallyimportant is the development of character, self-confidence,moral judgment, responsibility and good sportsmanship.
